Finance Supervisor
Camplings Limited is a commercial laundry. Predominantly operating a linen hire and workwear rental operation with a customer base spread across Norfolk and Suffolk. Camplings is a family business which has been operating in the region for over 100 years. Due to retirement, we are recruiting for a Finance Supervisor to join our finance department in Great Yarmouth. You will be joining a solid, established and secure business.
Overview of Role
The Financial Supervisor will assist the Group Management Accountant to oversee the organization’s accounting systems, maintaining accurate records and financial documentation.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
- Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
- Handles performance management of employees in accordance with company policy.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Ensuring compliance with the accounting procedures of the organization.
- Perform Bank, Pension and Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- Create, manage and improve databases to support the collection of relevant data within our Group ERP and Accounting systems.
- Provide rebate information for our larger customers.
- Provide holiday cover for the finance team.
- Assist main audit lead.
- Process VAT returns.
- Process Salaries
- Provide reporting support for the Finance managerial team and other departments.
- Provides a technical support link between our IT consultants and the finance team.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software, and accounting and financial software.
Education and Experience:
- Ideally AAT Level 2 & 3 but QBE considered.
- Three to Five years finance experience required.
- Year end Audit and previous managerial experience desirable.
- For the right candidate we will look to support you to study for your AAT qualification after 12 months of service.
- You will have a good level of education with a minimum of 5 GCSEs with a pass in Mathematics and English.
- Experience using Access and SoCom software packages is an advantage.
